Yes, the scientific products are usually pretty good. In the short run. As they have not been around as long as natural skincare the long-term effects are not as well known. 

Usually, scientific products are not known to have any dangerous side effects. And, in their impressive manufacturing jars are just that. Impressive. Until you see the price tag. 

As these scientifically produced products require a lot of handling and laboratory work, they can be very expensive. 

Conversely, the skin moisturisers/body scrubs/balms/ body lotions produced with natural products, are far cheaper. And Many people say better. A lot of people say they can breathe easily as they know that natural products have been around much longer. And are far more affordable.
