Skincare routine for men.

At last! A question that we at Graceful Lilly can help you DIRECTLY with! One that we don't have to go trolling far into various pages for references on!

Gents, start with a clean slate, so we wash our face with warm water. Bear in mind that we said "warm" water. Even though it's tempting on the cold mornings to use hot water. If we use hot water then we could very well burst blood vessels. This will leave us with a blotchy red face. Which will eventually heal itself over time, but you won't walk around the place with a face that looks like it has been spray painted by a drunk, colour-blind panel beater. 

1. First of all, wash with a very gentle soap. We don't recommend you use the bar of soap that's been sitting in your shower for the past 3 weeks. Instead, opt for a more gentle baby soap. 
2. Now it's time to use the chocolate or coffee scrub that you were gifted by someone for Valentine's Day, or your birthday. You know, the one that you've been looking forward to. 
3. So, now it's time to simply rinse it all off in the shower, or when standing at the sink. 
4. Now it's time to reach for the shaving cream. Or if your wife doesn't mind, you could use the Body Butter you bought her a couple of weeks ago. Body Butter is also a great shaving cream. Simply apply that cream as you would any moisturiser and use your shaving blade like every other day. Enjoy the difference. The ultra close shave. 
5. Don't wash off! The residue shave cream or Body Butter makes an amassing Shave Balm. You wouldn't want to waste it.
6. If you feel that you could do with a bit more balm, then simply apply more from the same container. This may be the case as a lot of it will have been shaved off. 

Gents, this is the tested tried and true routine that we at Graceful Lilly have been using for nearly 40 years. I don't think that we will ever differ from it either.
